When you buy a Wayuu bag and you would like to know what it means  by 1thread and 2threads?

What is different? How to choose? What is its value of price? 

There is a simple way to see these 2 techniques are different, the 1thread, it is skinnier and thinner than 2 Threads because its handmade by knitting each line (row)is very small with high skills of Wayuu Artisans. So when it is thin and small every single one is knitted, then use more threads, consuming more time, details and make the bag tight woven and lighter. 

However, 2 threads are more designed in the market because it is faster to knit and cheaper. If you are the one that loves handmade bags and appreciate the value of Wayuu culture, whatever 1 or 2 threads you will pick, please make sure you buy a right one. Because every dollar you pay, it will go to Wayuu communities. 

จุดสังเกตุง่ายๆของ2เทคนิคนี้สังเกตุไม่ยากเลยค่ะ 2 ใบนี้มีการถักในแพทเทริน์เดียวกัน แต่ไหมเดี่ยวแถวถักจะแคบและสั้นกว่า ซึ่งมีขนาดเล็กกว่าไหมคู่ (ไหม2เส้น) ด้วยความที่มีขนาดเล็กแต่ละแถว จึงต้องใช้ช่างวายูที่มีทักษะฝีมือสูง ถักด้วยความละเอียด ดังนั้นเมื่อการถักบางและเล็ก ก็ใช้ด้ายมากขึ้น, ใช้เวลา, รายละเอียดมากขึ้น และทำให้กระเป๋าทอแน่น มีความแข็งแรงและเบาขึ้น

อย่างไรก็ตาม ไหมคู่ (ไหม2เส้น)นั้น มีลวดลายและสีสันมากกว่าในท้องตลาด เพราะด้วยความที่มีพื้นที่แต่ละแถวใหญ่กว่าจึงสามารถเพิ่มไหนหลายสีเข้าไปได้ แต่นั่นก็ทำให้กระเป๋านั้นมีความหนาขึ้นด้วยค่ะ และใช้เวลาถักได้เร็วกว่าเพราะไม่เน้นความละเอียดมากเท่าไหมเดี่ยว, จึงมีต้นทุนค่าแรงถักถูกกว่า, ใช้ไหมน้อยกว่า
